Все анестезиологи, работающие с младенцами и детьми, должны считать устранение боли своей центральной врачебной задачей. В дайной главе проводится обсуждение следующих основных вопросов: 1) развитие нейробиологии боли; 2) проблемы оценки степени боли; 3) фармакология аналгезии у младенцев и детей; 4) подходы к устранению болн у детей и 5) распространенные синдромы хронических н рецидивирующих болей в педиатрии.
Прогрессирующее формирование и созревание периферических, спинальных и супраспиналь-иых путей передачи сигналов тканевой чувствительности и воспаления у человека происходит иа протяжении второго триместра гестации. Термин "ноцицепция” относится к процессам восприятия и передачи сигналов с нормальных и воспалительно поврежденных тканей. Термин “боль* относится как к сенсорным, так и к эмоциональным восприятиям токсических воздействий, способных вызывать воспаление и повреждение тканей либо патологическое раздражение нервов. Термин “нейропатическая боль” относится к формам боли, связанным с повышенной возбудимостью нервов и сохраняющейся после ликвидации воспаления и заживления ткаией. Термин "стра-
