Не забывайте, что ответ надо начинать с подчеркнутой части вопроса, далее соединить две части сказуемого и добавить требуемую информацию. Richard Wilton
Currently a fellow in the Medical Informatics program at the University of California, Los Angeles, Richard Wilton (born in 1953) earned a M.D. from UCLA and completed his residency in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. He has been programming computers since the late 1960s and has worked with IBM mainframes as well as with various microcomputers. Wilton has written about IBM PC and PS/2 programming for BYTE, Computer language, and The Seybold Outlook on Professional Computing. He is the author of Programmer's Guide to PC and PS/2 Video Systems, published by Microsoft Press.

Упражнение 23. Итак, из предыдущих текстов вы получили некоторую информацию. Используйте ее для того, чтобы данйые ниже предложения переставить в логическом порядке.
В тексте всегда есть слова, которые все мы знаем — это служебные, или структурные части речи. Назовем их маркерами текста, поскольку они маркируют (помечают, выделяют) элементы текста в соответствии с логикой его изложения. В этом упражнении они подчеркнуты. Они располагаются, как правило, в начале предложения.
Кроме того, читая текст, мы всегда обращаем внимание на имена собственные, которые являютя маркерами информации. О чем этот текст? Да, конечно, о Нортоне — его имя и местоимение he встречаются в каждом предложении. Первое предложение заявляет, о чем рассказывает последующий текст; начало предложения — о чем сообщает предложение. Далее нам помогут подчеркнутые слова: before предшествует now, a when относится к еще более раннему этапу — Нортон, купив компьютер, потом открыл его для себя. Слово also, скорее всего, подает сигнал, что в конце добавлено что-то к портрету.
